UK Disposable Ban Date Confirmed
It has now been confirmed that new legislation has been laid in parliament to enforce a ban on single use vapes from 1 June 2025 in England. This followed a written statement by the Welsh Deputy First Minister, that Wales would implement a ban on the same date and the Scottish Health Secretary, announced that Scotland has postponed their proposed ban by two months to fall in line with the rest of the UK.
This grants retailers a 7-month window to phase out their existing stock of single-use vapes.
