Procuria visit National Convenience Show 2023
The biggest convenience-retailing event of the year
On Tuesday 25th April Procuria team members Andy Coultas (Commercial Manager) and Jon Legard (Marketing Manager) headed to the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham for the National Convenience Show 2023. As one of the biggest dates in the calendar for the convenience-retailing sector, the event that forms part of the UK Foods & Drinks show is a must attend for industry enthusiasts.
The show provided a location for all wholesalers, retailers and suppliers to come together and showcase their latest and best work which is shaping the future of the industry. The size of the event was impressive in itself with more than 200 stalls to visit throughout. Many visitors turned up throughout the showcase which was split over three days, which ensured it remained busy with a friendly atmosphere. The location also provided a fantastic opportunity for visitors to listen to engaging talks at both the Retailer Hub and The Grocer Live stages on key topics from industry leaders.
As for the Procuria team, we enjoyed meeting up and reconnecting with key suppliers, ensuring we maintain the best foundations for success in the future. Celtic Frozen Drinks, Rollover and Bobby's Snacks were just a few of the suppliers it was fantastic to meet up with and share ideas. Additionally, the team also used the day to network and search for any new suppliers that could be added to the already substantial Procuria portfolio - keep your eyes peeled for new ranges to be added soon.
