We recently spoke to Aimee from the Go Local Extra shop in Redcar, North Yorkshire. Our partnership goes back to November 2022 when the store was having a major refit ready for reopening in December 2022.

Our Commercial Manager Andy Coultas received high praise for helping Aimee set up, initially through providing contacts, advice and communication of key suppliers that were required in her store. She explains that 'any questions on anything we needed were dealt with by Andy within a couple of hours - he was of great benefit to us when we first started and continues to be.' Since our partnership began, the store has grown impressively, with a 20% monthly turnover increase in the months of December and January respectively.

The Redcar store is currently taking numerous dropshipment suppliers through Procuria, including popular brands such as Warburtons Bread, World of Sweets American Candy, Bobby's Snacks, Rollover Hotdog, Tango Ice Blast, Lavazza Coffee and Solv-X – all of which are centrally billed and invoiced through our system. Aimee stated how helpful the free Procuria Central Billing system was to her. She went on to say that by centrally billing multiple suppliers onto one consolidated invoice helps with the ease and convenience of invoice and delivery note checking.

Turning the conversation to what are the most popular products in her store right now:

American Sweets, with Aimee talking about how she can't believe the increase in sales over the last few weeks of the ever-popular range. Vaping, continues to be a front runner as well. Her Food To Go range has also impressed, with customers purchasing over 25 cups of coffee per day through the Expresso Plus Lavazza machine purchased through Procuria.

Aimee finished our conversation by saying she 'would highly recommend Procuria to anyone' and once again spoke of the help received in 'getting contacts and communicating with key suppliers', which the team at Procuria are incredibly proud of.
