Procuria sponsor Grimsby Food Kitchen

This year Procuria has pledged to support the Grimsby Food Kitchen by donating and sponsoring the trifle for their Christmas meals that are being served for 2 weeks throughout the festive season.

The Grimsby Food Kitchen supports over 50 individuals weekly and has extended its opening hours to meet growing demand. It offers a warm, safe space where people can share meals and connect, often providing a rare opportunity for positive social interaction. Around 80 people attended the Christmas buffets, with volunteers helping to prepare and serve meals to homeless and vulnerable adults in Grimsby.

The Food Kitchen creates an inclusive and supportive environment, serving hot meals to some of the community's most vulnerable, including those experiencing homelessness or struggling with addiction.

Thanks to funding for new kitchen equipment, the Food Kitchen has been able to continue its vital work, providing hot meals and helping individuals with addiction access rehabilitation and recovery services.

Throughout the weekend just passed, the volunteers of the charity took part in a 24 hour sleep out from 11am Saturday 23rd November to 11am on Sunday 24th November, during the awful weather conditions of Storm Bert to help raise awareness and money for homeless and vulnerable people in Grimsby!
